This is an article about How to save your cracked pressed powder, because if you’re a mom like me, chances are, you’ve dropped your compact once or twice before and because it was cracked, deemed it useless and then threw it away. I don’t like wasting anything, so I don’t throw away my compact even after the powder has become loose powder instead of pressed powder, what I do is I transfer it into a container and then use a brush to apply the powder. Yes, I am that stingy.:P It’s such a hassle, but if it means I can save a few bucks, then I don’t mind.:D

If I were a rock star, this is how I would dress like.

Rocker Chic

What? No skulls or spikes you say? Well, er, none actually.

I realize that it’s not quite like how rockers usually dress. As a matter of fact, some people may consider this not rocker inspired at all. But this is my version of a rock inspired look, I think Rocker Chic would be more apt to describe this look, definitely something I would wear to an event like Battle of the Bands or perhaps a rock concert.:D

This year’s 3 Day Sale in SM Baguio came in a perfect time for me, what with the Second Baguio Blog Conference set to happen the weekend after the 3 Day Sale, it gives me just enough time to be able to buy new clothes and new shoes for the event and I won’t feel bad because I’d be able to get the items I want at a more affordable price.:D

Simply Red

I love putting on nail polish, it doesn’t just make my hands look gorgeous, it makes me feel so pretty too. I don’t know why, it’s hard to explain, but there’s just something about perfectly groomed hands that make me feel so gorgeous.:D

 

Simply Red is one of my favorite shades from the Caronia line of nail polish. Like what its name suggests, it is what it is, Simply Red.;;)

I love how shiny it is and I absolutely love that’s it’s a basic red. This classic red color is awesome because it complements whatever outfit I want to wear, whether I want to glam it up or dress it down, this color is just perfect.;)

 

Trivia: Red is one of the first colors that nail polish came in, along with clear, pink, purple and black. Now there are about a dozen different shades of red and a dozen more brands of nail polish to choose from.
